The 12-1pm class focuses on developing a Healthy Body, Quiet Mind, Peaceful Heart by covering the more relaxing aspects of Tai Chi: Slow repetitive bending stretching and twisting movements with the focus on deep breathing and mindfulness, to promote a healthy flow of internal energy and a strong flexible body. Improves balance posture and coordination. Promotes relaxation eliminates stress. new joiners without any experience very welcome at any time to our friendly 12-1pm class

A wonderful way to stretch and tone, to relax and restore, get rid of the aches and pains and feel heathler than ever before. Taiji Qigong is based on the principles of Chinese Medicine and Yin Tang Theory. It was developed China and is practiced throughout the world as a potent health promoting exercise.  Forget the new fads that come and go, this system is proven by time. Our room is gently lit with soft coloured lights and candles and Eastern music is used to create a restorative relaxing atmosphere. You'll love this chillout exercise class :)

New beginners are welcome at any time but it is important to contact us first,  or if you haven't been for a while, as you will need a gate code to gain access to the car park at this venue

A new slow, strengthening traditional Tai Chi martial arts class exclusively for new beginners joining in Autumn 2017. Regular weekly attenfance is required as is practieat  home to memorise the movements. Held in the Dining Hall  - soft lighting and candles make this a wonderful chillout before bedtime

new beginners can join at any time in the term

 Utilising foundation exercises of Tai Chi and combining these with the mindful repetitive movement of Qigong for a class which both stimulates the interest, builds good health and fitness and soothes the mind. Suitable for complete beginners and people with previous experience. Cherry uses a relaxed 'follow- along' teaching method, with explanations as necessary and calls of Chinese Medical Theory to support learning. We have similar classes on Monday evenings in Mytchett - see above
