Tai Chi Energy Cultivation and Life Nurturing Exercises

This 90 Minute class offers SHTC Daytime members a unique chance to experience learning from a top level Chinese Master.  Master Wang will teach the group Taiji foundtion exercises and life nurturing energy exercises (Qigong) to clear one's energy system of blockages, to cultivate a strong reserve of energy at the Lower Dantien and to develop a deep state of relaxation and mindfulness, resulting in good health.

The class will be suitable for anyone who attends our Tai Chi or Qigong classes - no previous experience of Chen Style Tai Chi is required and there will be no complicated routines or strenuous movements.  Although Chen Style Tai Chi is fundamentally a Martial Art, it is not limited to self defence - in fact more people practice Taiji for health than for Martial Arts in the West as at it's roots are steeped the Yin/Yang theory of Chinese Medicine
