Submit this form to enquire about our new 2020 Tuesday evening 6,45pm Tai Chi Qigong Sanctuary class
This class runs on Tuesdays from 6.45-7.45pm starting on 7th January 2020 at The Kiln Badshot Lea, and continuing at Weybourne Village Hall for the rest of the month. The same 2-venue format is used throughout the year because Weybourne Hall isn't available on the first Tuesday of each month. We close our classes at Easter, Christmas, New Year and Summer breaks (usually August) and occasional closures due to snow / other holidays
The class is taught as a 'follow me' format with clear verbal instructions and demonstrations. The teacher is Cherry Collins and occasionally Pat Bettridge. Both are qualified and insured instructors.
Suitable clothing is just your normal casual wear - trousers for ladies rather than skirts, and flat comfortable shoes.
No equipment or mats are required
All exercises are performed standing up
Both men and women attend our classes
The evening classes mainly appeal to working people aged 40-60 yrs but you can attend if you are younger or older than this
The exercise is slow, mindful and should be performed within your own comfort range
We don't offer a 'free trial' class nor do we allow people to watch, but if you'd like to know what sort of movement to expect just Google 'Tai Chi Video'
If you have a pre-existing health condition please note that we cannot offer you any advice on the suitability of the class for you, since we are not your doctor. We assume that you will have checked with your doctor regarding the type and level of exercise you can do and will adapt the movements to suit your present health..
If you are a smoker we ask that you don't smoke in the car on the way to class, nor outside before coming in and that you wear smoke-free clothes to make it an uplifting experience for everyone. We have had to add this clause as several participants have mentioned that standing next to someone who smells of stale cigarettes for an hour is not an uplifting experience.
Payment for classes:
New joiners are required to register in advance and pay for their first three classes at a slightly discounted rate of £20 (usually £7 per class) in order to secure a place in the class. We will send you payment details after you submit this form or you can book straight away by going to our Webstore and selecting Beginners Pack but make sure you select the correct class from the drop down box on the Beginners Pack item. This fee is non-refundable should you change your mind or not attend for whatever reason. This is to prevent places being held for people who ask us to keep a weekly place and then fail to attend, as has happened on many occasions in the past. Thereafter, if you want to continue learning with us, you'll just pay upfront for the number of classes in the coming month.
If you'd like to attend, please complete the rest of this form - ALL fields must be completed in order to submit the form or else you will get an error message. You can leave the 'ask your questions here field' blank if you don't need any further info. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you still have problems submitting this form
If you want to book and pay by bank transfer instead of paypal just ask us for our bank details in the questions field on this form
